Only reason I bought the game. Fic the multiplayer so that I can play with other people, and Ill remove this review.

This is a good game, its pretty violent for sure but its just really fn to play. The mechanics with the darkness is fun and the rpg elements with it are awsome! the only gripe i have is the controls take a while to get used to but I would recomend it to a friend. (If i had any)

Texture has problems in some parts of the map are complete black and I cant get past

i played the demo of the darkness 2 on my mac desktop 2010 and i got a 2012 13 inch macbookpro for christmas i bought the game i checked the requirments i had it but yet the texture still is bad i threw in the trash redownloaded and nothing happened its a great game but the texture is not working : ( please update so i can play.

There is always this yellow tint on the bottom of the screen please can someone help me?

The game works well on my macbook air give or take a few glitches. The glitches include lagging video speed and points where the background goes completely dark. The game can still be played with these problems. If the black background makes navigation difficult, look up a walkthrough online and use it to help. Basically the game does function, although not perfectly, and is very fun to play. The other problem is installing it, which is almost impossible because it repeatedly says that there isn’t enough disk space, when there is more than enough to meet the requirements.

I had little interest in purchasing this game and only did so because it went on sale this weekend. I got it running on a 2009 MBP and its running beautifully without any problems. Great game! Going to take a little while to get the controls down, and the mouse sensitivity was a little too high, but its all manageable and Ive got it all set to my likings now. Graphics are amazing, interesting story.. I definitely recommend this one!

This game was really pretty fun. The storyline was alright, not great if you want to be making choices every moment like in Bethesda/Bioware games, but what you get is a really pleasurable game full of intense violence and gore. Its a great stress reliever game. Its not too hard, but there are plenty of ways to make it interesting and adapting the game to your particular play style. The game is over before you know it, and Im not sure about how much replay value its going to have. I just discovered the online multiplayer and it seems like a pretty fun deal, too. Definately buy it this weekend at 50% off. Im glad I did! Show your support for mac games and we will keep getting them!

Gorgeous game with fun brutal combat. There are many ways to take care of enemies and the storyline draws you into the character. Works great on 2010 macbook pro 13

Looks like the multiplayer is possibly LAN only which honestly in this day and age - worthless. Dissapointed with a lot of these reviewers failing to mention that basic fact. John Carr Insidemacgames for one said it has online play and doesnt even mention the lack of REAL MP as a con. Otherwise the game is pretty fun and looks pretty cool. Kind of reminds me a bit of the original Max Payne with the flashbacks. This game is pretty gorey too. Id prefer to play the Co-Op missions with my friends which really hurts the game. Its a bit expensive for what it is but at $14.99 for the weekend special its a decent buy.

everytime I turn the game on i get to playing get about 2 mins into the game and my computer freezes locks up and I cannot do anything I have never had this problem with any other game I have ever played felt like i was just robbed 15 dollars

I love this game very glad that I made the purchase, but the shadows are a huge problem and like the following customers mentioned; it makes the game hard to enjoy please fix this and Ill change my rating.

I really want to play this game because Im sure its pretty good. But its pretty much unplayable for me right now because it either crashes soon after starting or it lags so badly I cant even play it. Please update this.

I own this game for the Xbox, and when I saw it come to the Mac App Store, I thought that it would be a good buy. One problem though… my internet connection at my boarding school is so crappy that Im gonna wait until I get back home to download it x3 Good review until I can actually play it. Innocent until proven guilty.

This comic book inspired game is not for the faint of heart. It is INCREDIBLY gory and violent, which should be intising to many gamers. The gameplay is great, though the controls are a little tricky to get used to, however, they can be customized. The visuals are reminisant to its comic book roots resembling a design Borderland fans can relate to. Game runs somewhat smooth on medium settings with High resolution. Minor graphics glitches here and there. Possibly due to my card, but easily forgivable. Best thing about this game, and not by far, is the story. It feels like a cross between a mafia movie and the apocolypse, and you are one of the horsemen. I highly recommend this game. My Mac is a 2010 MacBook Pro, 2.4 i5, 256 Dedicated.

Was on the fence about buying this game then the 50% off weekend made the decision for me. Totally worth it. The story is well written and all the different ways to kill people is incrediable! Such eye candy. The same satisfaction you get from watching all the fatalities in a mortal kombat game no joke! If you missed the sale though Id try game stop. Im sure you could pick it up for 20 bucks there.

Got this game when it was on sale for 14.99$, really great game. The only problem I am experiencing is that there is absolutely no sound and this is really annoying. It is impossible to enjoy the gaming experience when there is no sound, so please fix this as soon as possible because appart from that the game looks really great.

I bought the game thinking I was getting a deal since its only $15, however it kept saying there was an error everytime I went to download this game. I spent a whole day downloading it with 2 hours left and it encountered an error and needed to restart all the way from the beginning. Unless this error is fixed DO NOT BUY THIS GAME. Its a waste of time.
