Steam sells this for $42, and the app store does it fr $20 great deal.

cant see where your going on most occasions. im running this on a late 2011 and on the lowest settings. ive been able to play many other fpss but not this one

From what Ive played it looks like it will turn out to be a cool game but the textures wont always load. I get to a point in the game where I cant even continue, most of the surroundings are completely black and I am unable to do anything. I would give this game 5 stars but with whats happened it looks like I wasted 20 dollars.

I went and got the Windows version of this game to see if the comments were exaggerating about the video being really dark. Its obviously MUCH darker in the OSX version… MUCH DARKER. It doesnt have the same definition of the Windows version, as the parts that are a certain shade just ended up black in this version. Its a pretty cool game, but the lack of definition is a serious flaw, hopefully to be remedied and avoided in future game releases on the App Store. I found a glitch near the end, where I had to start over from a save point in order for a passage to open. Generally, a fun game. Somewhat short (can finish in a day). I would reccomend it to anyone who likes a FPS thats fairly simple in nature.

When I release the Darkness it will be turn ground to yellow :( very bad please fix it.

After starting the game, the screen immediately turns yellow and i can barely see anything through it!!! PLEASE FIX!!!! (im running it on a 13 retinaMBP)

The darkness 2 is the perfect cobination of bloody violence and nice horror i dont realy like the graphics but not the worst ive seen best game ive purchased in the app store you just feel powerful ripping those hearts out and shoting those guys just awesome i highly recommend you buy you will not regret the money.

when i play the game the 2/3 of display are cover by yellow dust and it make really bad sight to me. if it play the video than i can see the nomal sight but it change to game the yellow dusy came out and cover the display. it make really hard to play game pleas fiz that.

I cant even play the first level because there is so many texture bugs the walls are black and there is this weird yellow mist its very anoying please fix it asap

The title explains it all. It’s basically unplayable because of them. I have NO idea what’s going on in the game half the time. I wish there was a way to get a refund so I didn’t waste my money on this terrible game.

I bought a new macbook pro this year and re-downloaded onto it, but it won’t play at all. I stopped playing on my old macbook because of all the bugs. I thought they would fix all the issues that the game has had for years, but I was very wrong. Do not buy this game it doesn’t play and has TONS of bugs that make the lucky few to get play time frustrated. It’s more than frustrating that apple still lets games like this stay in the market for people to lose money on.

I love this game and I wanted to finish it but it won’t play in my new MacBook Air running OS X 10.10.3… Are you all working on a new update for it? Please say yes! :(

This game is not set up to be played on Macs. For PCs it works flawlessly. The version being sold on the Apple Mac store, is severely flawed, and should be removed from the store. My computer far over reaches the requirements necessary for playing this game. However, after downloading and installing twice, it never shows any images or video on my screen, only sound. Its like I never opened it.

This game was completely disappointing. It does not run on the never hardware and operating systems that apple products use. Please update IMMEDIATELY!!!

Got this game on sale from steam and it had the yellow screen bug in it, so I ended up buying it for $20 on the mac store, which is supposed to be reliable and monitored. Considering the latest update said it had new support for OS X Yosemite, I bit the bullet and gave it a shot. I shouldn’t have. The app launches and there’s audio that teases me, as there’s no video. There are no visuals whatsoever. Apple needs to refund those who bought this app and clearly have the minimum requirements, because this game simply doesn’t work. That’s not okay. I wasted my money on something that blatently doesn’t work. Either fix this or give me my money back.

The game works well on my macbook air give or take a few glitches. The glitches include lagging video speed and points where the background goes completely dark. The game can still be played with these problems. If the black background makes navigation difficult, look up a walkthrough online and use it to help. Basically the game does function, although not perfectly, and is very fun to play.
